Hardly a question is so fundamental to the faith in Jesus Christ as the question of resurrection. Because if he is truly risen, this is the strongest proof that he was the Son of God sent by God the Father to us to bring people back to God.
The law professor Simon Greenleaf, who was a skeptic examined the evidence for the resurrection, and came to the following conclusion:
"...according to the laws of legal evidence used in courts of law, there is more evidence for the historical fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ than for just about any other event in history."
